NOTES
Worked flat in pieces and seamed. Pieces are worked in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with 1 garter edge st each side. ‘Bending’ stripe pattern on body is shaped using German Short Rows. Sleeves and body are finished with a folded stockinette hem. Folded stockinette neckband is finished and fastened in one step using a crochet chain on the RS. When working German Short Rows, note that the “turning point” is the space be- tween the ‘doubled’ stitch and the stitch beyond; ‘doubled’ stitch is always included in stitch counts given to turning point (as one stitch). Choose the size with 4-10” of positive ease.
