July 2018 - I re-worked this pattern to add additional stitches and rows to the borders, as well as add a couple rows between the foot print repeats. The revised pattern also has a full graph of the design so you know how the footprints are laid out.

For the re-work, I used a size 6 needle, with Wendy Peter Pan dk yarn, 5 skeins (about 1000 yards). The finished size is now 30”x31”.

Six sets of footprints dance whimsically across this small blanket in a diagonal pattern. Knit with Bernat Softee Baby yarn, the blanket is oh so soft and huggable. The finished blanket size is approximately 28” x 28”.
