Basia Sweater’s knitting starts at the neckline, worked seamlessly from the top-down. The front neckline stitches will be knitted together to form the V-neck.
Gauge / With 4.5 mm ( US 7 ) needle :
19 sts and 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking.
Recommended ease: >15cm / 6”

MC: Woolfolk Far Yarn, Color 34; 100% Ovis 21 Ultimate Merino, 142 yards / 130 meters / 50 grams. 8.5 ( 9, 9.5, 10 )( 10.5, 11, 12 ) Skeins. Approx. 1105 ( 1170, 1235, 1300 )( 1365, 1430, 1560 ) meters.
CC: Woolfolk Tage Yarn, Color 18; 70% Ovis 21 Ultimate Merino, 30% Mohair, 160 yards / 145 meters / 50 grams. 1 ( 1, 1, 1.5 )( 2, 2, 2.5 ) Skeins. Approx. 145 ( 145, 145, 210 )( 290, 290, 360 ) meters.
(You may need more yardage of main color when extend the length of body or sleeves )
Needles:
4.5 mm ( US 7 ), 40 ~120 cm circular needle for the body and sleeves .
4 mm ( US 6 ), for the ribbing of neckline, hem and cuff. (DPNs or preferred needles (Magic Loop) for small circumference knitting.)
Other Materials:
Stitch markers, waste yarn.
