This simple yet elegant cable mitten is knit in the round with a separate right and left mitten. Instructions are given for the child 4-6 with the other sizes in parenthesis. If only one set of numbers is given, it applies to both right and left mittens, all sizes.

SKILLS USED: Basics, knitting in the round, simple shaping, basic cable.

SIZES: Child small 2-6 years, (Child large or adult small / adult medium / adult large).

FINISHED CIRCUMFERENCE: 6” ( 7” / 8” / 9”)

MATERIALS NEEDED: approximately 100 (150 / 170 / 220) yards worsted weight wool, US#4 (3.5 mm) double pointed needles or size to obtain the correct gauge, cable needle, small stitch holder, 4 round ring markers, darning needle.
