Beady Cable Gloves
Beady Cable Gloves have perfectly placed beads inside a double-crossing cable. A 3/2 eyelet ribbed cuff flows seamlessly into a 5/2 beaded Cable pattern on the back of the hand. Two stitches cross in front of three for an all-knit cable of unusual depth, and a single bead sits in the center of each cable.
Size: The glove shown is knitted at a gauge of 6 stitches to the inch (2.5 cm) and will fit an average woman’s hand. The yarn used for the model can be knit at 5 stitches per inch for a larger glove; a finer yarn can be knit at seven stitches per inch for a smaller glove.
Needles: Set of 5 US 3 (3.25 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) double-pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
Additional Gauge: 16 sts and 17 rows = 2” (5cm) cable pattern using US 4 (3.5 mm) needles
