Beautiful Daze
This design is for a single skein of fingering weight yarn, I used a merino/nylon blend yarn (425m/100g) for the sample pictured. Using a yarn with different meterage will affect the size of the finished shawl.
My finished sample shawl dimensions are: 125cm/49 inches along left hand edge; 74cm/29 inches along bind off edge; 135cm/53 inches along cable edge.
Gauge is not essential for this project, but if you work at a different gauge from that mentioned, this will affect the size of the finished shawl.
The body of the shawl is simple garter stitch. I added a cable border, designing it to reflect the meandering pathways of my favourite music festival in Devon.
