Pattern available in English and Italian.

“Bilie” is a unisex hat knit bottom-up.
The first color is used to knit a ribbed border.
The work continues with a simple stranded pattern which gradually passes from the first to the second color. The hat is finished using the second color.

One size:
The hat stretches up to 6 cm – 2 ¼ inches to fit up to head circumference 48 cm – 14 ½ inches / 54 cm – 21 ¼ inches.

Finished measurements:
48 cm – 14 ½ inches circumference.

Yarn and needles:
MYAK Baby Yak Medium (100% yak: 114 m – 125 yd / 50 gr – 1.76 oz. skein):
First colour: Desert: 1 skein;
Second colour: Burgundy: 1 skein.
Circular needles:
3.5 mm – US 4 with a 40 cm – 24 inch cable;
4 mm – US 6 with a 40 cm – 24 inch cable;
set of dpns 4 mm – US 6 for binding off; if you don’t have dpns, or if you prefer, you can use the Magic Loop method using an 80cm – 32 inch cable.
If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.
Other:
1 stitch marker.
Tapestry needle and scissors.

Gauge:
18 sts and 26 rounds = 10 cm – 4” in st st using the 4 mm – US 6 needles (worked in the round and after blocking).

“Bilie” è un berretto realizzato a partire dal basso.
Si incomincia a lavorare con il primo colore il bordo a coste.
In seguito si procede con un semplice motivo a maglie passate “stranded” in inglese) che crea un passaggio graduale dal primo colore al secondo. Si conclude con il secondo colore.
Il berretto è unisex.

Taglia unica:
Il berretto può estendersi fino a 6 cm per vestire una testa di 48/54 cm.

Misure finite:
48 cm di circonferenza.

Filato ed aghi:
MYAK Baby Yak Medium (100% yak: 114 m per matassa da 50 gr):
Primo colore: Desert: 1 matassa;
Secondo colore: Burgundy: 1 matassa.
Aghi circolari:
numero 3.5 mm e 4 mm con cavo lungo 40 cm;
un gioco di ferri 4 mm per la chiusura; se non li possedete, potete usare il metodo del Magic Loop con un cavo da 80 cm.
Se necessario modificare il numero degli aghi per ottenere il campione corretto.

18 m x 26 giri = 10 cm a maglia rasata usando i ferri 4 mm (lavorati in tondo e dopo il bloccaggio).
