It has been a while since I have designed a stranded garment using RedFish Dyeworks 2 Ply 50/50 Silk Merino. I thought it would be a good project while I recovered from knee replacement surgery. I decided to use one of their Jump-Start Kits. Each kit is inspired by a photograph. I chose Bisti Rocks because the colors remind me of the Four-Corners Region in the southwest (Bisti Badlands are in New Mexico).

This A-line vest features side vents. The front and back are worked separately and then joined at the sides. Decreases are worked at the side seams to shape the waist. The front and back are again worked flat after dividing for the armholes.
