Get ready for a spook-tacular Halloween with this set of knitted toys; a Blair Witch doll with pointed witchy hat, a Jack O’Lantern pumpkin decoration, and Blair’s black cat Dera-Mog.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz these toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns using single pointed needles.

The knitting patterns are suitable for advanced beginner or intermediate knitters.

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK; one 100g skein in each colour: Oatmeal, Purple, Burnt Orange and Ebony
Double knitting/light worsted weight
100% acrylic

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm (US 4) straight single pointed knitting needles

NOTIONS
Toy filling
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
Two 5mm black beads for the witch’s eyes
Two 9mm cat’s toy safety eyes
Up to 2 metres of pink embroidery thread/floss for the witch’s mouth and cat’s nose
A stitch holder (or a waste piece of yarn to hold live stitches)

SIZES
One Size: The witch is 31cm tall (including the hat), the pumpkin is 9cm tall (including the stalk), and the cat is 18cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
Work flat on single pointed needles (not in the round).
Other techniques include casting on and off, knits and purls, increases and decreases, changing colours to knit stripes, and seaming to finish.
