About the pattern
The shawl is knitted as an asymmetric triangle from one corner to the opposite side. The knitting consists of garter stitch, stockinette stitch and some simple structure to make the knitting a bit interesting.

While gauge isn’t critical for a shawl, yarn usage may be affected if the gauge differs.
Gauge
18 sts and 28 rows = 10x10 cm in garter stitch.
When the sample was knit, the gauge was achieved using 4.5 mm needles. However, I knit tightly, so you may need to choose one or two sizes smaller needles to achieve gauge.
