This sleepy dragon is watching over it’s treasure, which of course are books! Any fans of dragons or fantasy books with dragons in them would surely enjoy this wall hanging! It’s made using single crochet stitches and follows a chart or written description of the chart.

This is a great way to use up some stash yarn! Here are the colors I used and how much of each:

Yarn:
Hobbii Everyday Acrylic, light weight #3 yarn (100% acrylic; 382 yards/350m per 3.5 oz/100g skein

Gray (Gr)- 150 yards + 85 yards for fringe
Blue (Bl) - 100 yards
Black (B) - 76 yards
Teal (T) - 32 yards
Purple (P) - 16 yards
Red (R) - 16 yards
Yellow (Y)- 16 yards
White (W) - 6 yards

Here are the materials I used:
US size F/5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle (aka tapestry needle)
Scissors
Wooden dowel/stick for hanging purposes (in the example it is ¾ inch thick and 24 inches long)

size and measurements:
23 inches long by 18.5 inches wide (fringe included)
16 inches long by 18.5 inches wide (no fringe)
