This crochet pattern is currently part of a collection but will be released later this year independently here on Ravelry so keep an eye for when that happens.

Introducing “Bookworm’s Delight” - a stunning crochet book sleeve designed using multiple colours. This gorgeous accessory features an array of colourful books lined up on a cosy wooden shelf.

The sleeve is worked in acrylic yarn, in small amounts so it is definitely to be considered a stash buster. You can choose to create a monochromatic scheme or go for a more vibrant, colourful effect like mine. The use of back loop-only stitches not only adds a little bit of texture but also gives the book edges a crisper line. The background is worked in one colour to represent the bookshelf, allowing the colourful books to pop and stand out.

This is an Ideal pattern for confident beginners who want to start adding colour to their crochet. This is a first look at intarsia crochet.

I used 90m of the main colour and between 15m and 21m of 5 other colours.
