Bothy Cushion
The inspiration for this cushion came from the OXO motifs seen on traditional Fair Isle jumpers,” says Mary Henderson. “I’ve chosen a colour palette with a hint of spring. This would be a good project for Fair Isle novices, as it uses just four colours and has no shaping. The button band is at the top of the cushion, and I’ve used heart-shaped wooden buttons (because home is where the heart is!).” Mary has used Jamieson & Smith’s Jumperweight wool for her cushion, which would make a good stashbuster project.
