Bouncing Balls Cardigan and Hoodie
Classic stitches form the foundation for a timeless crocheted cardigan or hoodie! Body and sleeves are worked in single and double crochet punctuated by two–color panels of the Catherine Wheel pattern. The continuous modular construction means no seams to sew. Even the buttons are crocheted as–you–go. Sized from 6 months to 6 years, options include a simple cardigan or classic hoodie.
Body is worked flat in halves from center out and joined together at sides. Sleeves are worked seamlessly in rounds from top down. For hoodie, hood is worked in rows from bottom up and joined together at top.
Frontbands are buttoned right–over–left, the preferred orientation for garments to be fastened by a helper.
Six .625” (16mm) sew–on buttons may be used in place of crocheted buttons, if desired.
