I continue to explore the lateral braid with this next cowl pattern of mine. When combined with stockinette stitches and worked in the round, the lateral braid helps to achieve a nice wavy shape without any effort that is perfect for a cowl.

Yarn: Cascade 220 Heathers

Requirement: Approximately 35 gms (77yds) of MC and 20 gms (44 yds) of CC should be more than sufficient for a cowl of a size: 8.5” x 5.5”

Gauge 20 sts, 28 row to 4”/10cm with US 8/5mm needles
