When Carolyn Fletcher, the dyer behind Wolf Hollow Wool, challenged me to design a garment with two of her half-pound skeins, I immediately envisioned a brioche cardigan. Bramley, named for an upstate New York mountain near where Carolyn grew up, makes the most of the knit stitch’s super squishy texture.

Bramley Cardigan is worked flat for the body and in the round for the sleeves.
