Brezza
Brezza was imagined and designed during summer, thinking of the sea, and that light breeze you can enjoy at the beach when sun starts falling.
The color combination I used reminds me of waves breaking on rocks when winds push the sea to kiss the coastline.
The simple stitch pattern emphasizes the wonderful color shades of yarn, and mimics the movements of seawater when wind blows.
The shawl shape, an asymmetrical triangle, is made by working the piece sideways from the tip to the bottom with central decreases and side increases. The result is a modern design and a soft and warm accessory that can be easily wrapped around shoulders or used as a scarf.
GAUGE after blocking: 22.5 sts x 48 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4” x 4” in garter stitch.
Gauge is not critical; different gauge will only affect finished size and yardage.
FINISHED SIZE after blocking: approx 158 cm x 50 cm / 62.25” x 19.5” (at the largest point). Finished measurement slightly changed in tests according to gauge and yarn used.
