Briar Rose
Description from Knitty.com:
“I designed this sweater for my five-year-old daughter, hoping to create something charming and contemporary -- but not cutesy-poo. Knit in a machine-washable blend, Briar Rose is a cropped, fitted sweater featuring picot edging at cuffs and hem, then a cable rib pattern which transitions into stockinette stitch to speed the finished project along. A touch of sage green helps to stave off excessive pinkitude.”
ERRATA:
Fix the portion within brackets in even-numbered rows of the written-out rib pattern as follows: k2, p2, k2, p4
With regard to the Front, change the first sentence to read: “Work as for Back through armhole shaping. Cont until Front measures 10.2511.5, 12.75, 14 inches from turning row, ending with RS row.” The pattern is technically correct as written but I have clarified that you are supposed to work the armhole decreases when you get to 8 8.75, 9.25, 10.25 inches. Then continue without further shaping until the Front measures 10.2511.5, 12.75, 14 inches from the turning row. If you do this, the stitch count will be correct.
