Brioche stitches circle around to create a squishy cowl with an oversized cabley pattern. Perfect design for a first brioche project, and one that I designed especially for my beginners’ brioche class.

Construction: Cowl is worked in the round from bottom to top. Color A and Color B alternate rounds, with Color A worked with the right side facing out spiraling around clockwise, then Color B worked with the inside out spiraling around counter clockwise.

This is a clever way to make every round a knitwise round, and to eliminate any color jogs at the same time!
