The shawl for the easily bored or the indecisive side in you!
It offers a little bit of everything: Interesting shaping and construction, alternating stripes with half row brioche, a little color blocking, 2-color brioche, and a 1-color brioche edging.

The arrow (aka kite) shape is a fun shape to knit. For the first part of the shawl, increases are worked on both edges and decreases are worked along the Center Spine Stitch (CSS).
For the second part, you are decreasing the segment on the left side of the shawl while still increasing the size of the right side, in sort of a running chase!

Have fun and pick your colors as wild or as mild as you like, and brioche-a-row on your Briochearrow!

Space Cadet Yarn Lyra (100% Superwash Merino; 270 yards / 250 m per 100 g/ 3.5 oz skein)

2 skeins MC and 1 skein CC
Sample in Wilt (MC) and Molten Cool (CC)

Sport weight yarn, approx. 520 yds / 475m (MC) and 270 yds /250 m (CC)

Gauge
approx. 18 st and 27 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch
approx. 16 sts and 22 rows = 4” / 10 cm in brioche st
(all gauge measured blocked)

US 6 (4 mm) 32”/ 80 cm circular needle
or size to obtain gauge

Finished Size
approx. 64”/ 163 cm wingspan along longest edge, approx. 29” / 74 cm deep to the tip
