Bubbles Blanket
Bright and cheerful crochet blanket, which is really quick and easy to make, thanks to the overlay mosaic crochet technique.
The base fabric is made up of rows of back loop dcs (US sc), and the pattern is created by working trs (US dc) into unworked front loops 2 rows below.
Available in a choice of UK and US terms, both of which include a clear chart, full written instructions and step by step photos.
Materials used
Rainbow Baby Blanket
Deramores Studio DK (100% acrylic; 250m / 100g):
3 balls in Pearl (MC),
1 ball each in Citrine 70042, Mustard 70058,
Burnt Orange 70059, Ruby 70006, Wine 70045, Aubergine 70010, Indigo 70009, Ultramarine 70017, Malachite 70014, Peridot 70011 and Lime 70069 (all used as CC)
This pattern has been designed as a baby blanket, but it is easy to scale up to a full-size blanket for grown-ups, so I have included instructions for this too.
1 ball of each of the CC colours should be sufficient for the adult blanket, but you will need 10 balls of your MC colour.
Finished baby blanket measures approximately 70cm x 80cm
Finished adult blanket measures approximately 140cm x 160cm
