1. Skills: basic brioche- knitting knowledge, knitting in the round;

2. Needles:
* 16” (40cm) circular needle (for hats) or 4+1 DPN’s, in US11/8mm;
* cable (auxiliary) needle (8mm/US11);
* tapestry needle for weaving in ends;

3. Yarns - shown cowl is made with (budget friendly) bulky yarns:
a) MC (main color, red, knit on front side) approx. 65gr of Nako Sport wool (120m~131 yds/100gr);
b) CC (contrast color, knit on back side) approx. 60gr of Nako Pop mix (120m~131yds/100gr);

4. 1 stitch marker;
5. I-cord length ~70cm/28” (you can knit 3-stitch I-cord with DK weight yarn);
6. 2 pompoms;

SIZE – one size (this is very elastic pattern/fabric):
depth – 24cm/9.6”, circumference (around the head) minimum 54cm/21.6”,
Gauge: 10 sts and 14 rows in fixed brioche braided motive into 10 x 10cm / 4 x 4”
