This Bee is crochet in one piece and the only sewing needed is the antenna’s, cheeks, eyes and wings.

Materials

• Weight 5 chunky chenille yarn (50 metres) (I used Aldi baby yarn 95 metres per 100g ball) in yellow and black and a 6mm hook

• 12mm safety eyes or crochet the eyes, using dk weight 3 yarn and a 3mm hook and included pattern

• Polyester toy filling

• Needle

The Bee will measure 12 inches including antennas. However the size will depend on yarn and hook size used.

The bee can also be made in dk / weight 3 yarn and a 3mm hook. To make the eyes smaller use 4ply yarn and a 2mm hook. (The one I made in weight 3 turned out 6.5 inches tall).
