Burghley the Dapple Pony joined the menagerie as part of TOFT’s Autumn 2025 collection. Symbolic of patience, wisdom and balance, the dapple horse or pony is so-called due to the markings on its coat. Most commonly seen in grey horses, the dappling gene is thousands of years old and will become less prominent as the horse ages. For this crochet pony, we have chosen a subtle contrast of TOFT’s Silver and Shale shades, but you could choose any combination of greys or browns to match your horse.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your crochet animal you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section or upgrade to a complete kit which includes all of the above!

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Pony will be approximately 28cm tall from feet to top of ears.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.
