Burning Love Swoncho
This was begun as my travel project on a trip to Las Vegas for the wedding of two amazing people. I had no idea then in January that, by the time the design was ready for publication, phrases like “social distancing” and “self isolation” would be part of our everyday conversations and that our lives would be turned upside down. I want the joy, love and happiness we felt at the wedding to stay with us all and carry us through these very difficult days.
Worked from the top down in the round, the Burning Love Swoncho combines stripes, ribbing and a textured slip stitch. The resulting garment is a comfortable pullover with a lot of ease and attitude. The sleeve and body lengths are easily adjusted for a custom fit.
The swoncho is designed to be worn with up to 22” of ease, so it fits a wide range of sizes. Choose a size that reflects your chest measurement plus the amount of ease you want. The sample shown is size 1, and is shown on a few different body types and sizes.
The finished chest measurement is 54 (57, 60.5)“.
