Poetic Lace
Design: Camilla Ette Gotfredsen, DesignEtte.dk

”Poetic Lace” is inspired by French fashion, which is boasting all sorts of black lace. For this design I decided to combine knitting and crochet. A circular, Irish crochet motif constitutes the centre of the front, then two smaller ¾ circles are adjoined for a peplum effect. Back and sleeves are worked in stocking stitch.
The shape was created wrapping and draping paper around a dressmaker’s doll, adjusting it along the way to achieve just the right fit, resulting in a top that is both stylish and comfortable to wear.
