Cabana Stripe Skinny Scarf
Welcome transitional weather with the Cabana Stripe Skinny Scarf. This multi-season piece combines the skinny-scarf trend with bold diagonal stripes. The design was inspired by beach-cabana fabrics to add a touch of warm weather to your style at any time!
Worked end-to-end in basic intarsia with slip stitch edges, it can be left with the faux i-cord rolled edges or blocked out for more width.
Basic Skills Needed / Notes:
Cast on, knit, purl, slip stitches, yarnovers, knit and purl through the back loop, work with two colors of yarn at a time in intarsia, knit decreases, and sew in ends.
• The entire pattern is written out.
• Knit flat from the end up.
• Intarsia sections only require working with three balls/bobbins at a time.
• Estimated level: Adventurous Beginner - Intermediate.
Finished Dimensions:
4” wide and approx 78” long immediately after blocking. (Sample was sprayed to dampen and pinned out, RS up, to flatten edges.) Note: Blocking measurements are not final dimensions. The piece will roll in slightly widthwise after blocking flat; 4” pinned width will be c. 3.5” after blocking. It will also be slightly shorter.
