Worked up in one of the most amazing sock yarns on the market today, this cloche-beanie hybrid presents a quick, fun knit. Unique cables draw the wide ribbed fabric in so much, you can entertain your friends and family by showing them a 40-inch cast on and telling them it’s your new hat!

Please note that the hat is not designed to cover the ears; if you wish your hat to be longer, working an extra two repeats of the cable pattern before beginning the decreases will give you about four inches of extra length, and sets you up to work the decreases as written.
