This pattern, like my Cabled Sea Turtle Socks and Cabled Sea Turtle Mitts uses cabling techniques to create a sea turtle on the hat. The remainder of the hat is worked in cabled ribbing that resembles seaweed and makes the hat super stretchy. The child size is 17”/43 cm in circumference but can easily stretch to 20”/51 cm, and is 7”/18 cm tall. The adult size is 20”/51 cm in circumference, will stretch up to 23”/58.5 cm, and is 8”/20.5 cm tall.
