This cowl is a companion piece to the Cabled Trellis Hat. It’s a quick knit that takes a single skein of worsted yarn (100 gr). Perfect for that one skein you have left from the sweater you just finished.

It’s a neck warmer style cowl that hugs the neck, without constricting, and providing just that little extra warmth over your back and shoulders. This is especially good if you have short hair, or wear your hair up, and want to keep the back of your neck warn.

The fit is one size fits most, but it can be made larger or smaller by either changing your needle size up or down, or adding or deleting some of the ribbing (in 4 stitch increments) along the back. You can also make the cowl longer by adding a few more rows before binding off.

The cable motif is both charted and written out.
