Skill level: Beginner
Simple and cozy, the Calla Wrap operates like a ruana or cape. The U-shape at the center of the piece keeps the wrap comfortably and firmly on the shoulders whether you’re on a stroll in cool weather or sitting at the computer typing away at work. The subtle ruffle at the back center of the wrap is soft and feminine and adds just the right amount of flair and movement to the piece.
Construction Details:
The Calla Wrap is worked flat in one piece from the top shoulder edge towards the lower back edge. There are multiple increase lines running down the wrap to create the U-shape. Stitches are slipped along the edge of the work to create a tidy edge. The pattern includes a row checklist to help you keep track of row and stitch counts while knitting.
