Magpie Fibers Swanky DK (80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon, 250 yds / 230 m – 115 g). MC: 1 skein in the colourway Tupelo Extra.
CC1: 1 skein in the colourway Juniper Rising.
CC2: 1 skein in the colourway Evil Beaver.
Or approx. the following amounts of DK-weight yarn:
MC: 225 yds / 205 m.
CC1: 46 yds / 42 m.
CC2: 27 yds / 25 m.
NEEDLES
US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needles, 32” / 80 cm for Magic Loop knitting.
Or a needle size that gives you the correct gauge.
GAUGE
25 sts × 44 rnds to 4” / 10 cm on US 4 / 3.5 mm needles in colourwork pattern in the round, after blocking.
NOTIONS
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, contrasting coloured waste yarn.
NOTES
The socks are worked toe-up with an afterthought heel, featuring a striped pattern throughout the foot and leg. The sock cuff is folded double, or if preferred, it can be left unfolded. The pattern is written for the Magic Loop technique.
