This felted bag is knit in several pieces and assembled after felting. It features a fold-over strap closure and interior pocked. Finished dimensions (post-felting) are approximately 12” wide by 10” high by 4 1/2” deep.

Additional Materials

  • 2 purse handles (15” long)
  • 1 large hook and eye
  • 1 purse closure
  • sewing needle and thread

Gauge is not critical to this project, and is much looser than commonly seen for this yarn. The main yarn (Cascade 220) is used doubled throughout the main bag, with addition of the accent yarn (K1C2 Sprinkles) when used. The pattern calls for four skeins of Cascade 220 - two main color and one each contrast 1 and contrast 2 - plus one skein K1C2 Sprinkles for accent (not included yardage).
