CARMINE – this is one my personal favourites, it’s a yoke cardigan, knitted in the round and steeked. I’ve edged the button bands with a multi coloured crochet trim, which I feel, finishes the garment really well. The back of the steek is covered with a woven ribbon. The yarn is Rowan Felted Tweed.

The colours in Rowan Felted Tweed needed to knit ‘CARMINE’ are as follows.

SIZES S(M,L,XL,XXL)

Phantom 153 - 6(7,8,8,9) x 50gm balls
Clay 177 - 1(1,2,2,2) x 50gm ball
Gilt 160 - 1(all sizes) x 50gm ball
Avocado 161- 1(all sizes) x 50gm ball
Peony 183 - 1(all sizes) x 50gm ball
Rage 150 - 1(all sizes) x 50gm ball
Tawny 186 - 1(all sizes) x 50gm ball
Ginger 154 - 1(all sizes) x 50gm ball
Cinnamon 175 - 1(all sizes) x 50gm ball

Yarn colour note:
Gilt 160 has been discontinued by Rowan, please use Cumin 193 instead.

To finish the garment you need the following:

Buttons - 9 x RW5019 from Bedecked Haberdashery (www.bedecked.co.uk)

Ribbon (to back the steek) - 120 130, 130, 130, 140cm of 1.5cm wide ribbon. I used BD1129 (pale olivine on natural) from Bedecked Haberdashery.
