“Have fun storming the castle!” is my favorite line from The Princess Bride.

This sock was designed to look like the castle. The cuff is the battlements, the legs are the walls, and the heel flap reveals the castle door. The garter rib toe replicates the look of the cuff.

Two Leg Charts are provided for each size: one to work the “bricks” using 1x1 cables and one to work them using a lace technique. Pick your favorite technique or try something new.

Castle Walls Socks was chosen to be the March 2018 pattern for the Blue Moon Fiber Arts Rockin’ Sock Club.
