Casual Lace is a top down cardigan. The body is worked in Travelling Vine lace pattern whereas the sleeves are knitted in Stockinette stitch.

This design is for advanced knitters.

Sizes : XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL.
To fit chest: 70/75, 80/85, 90/95, 100/105, 110/115, 120/125 cm
or 28/30, 32/34, 36/38, 40/42, 44/46, 48/50 inches.

Yarn
3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5 skeins of Madelinetosh TOSH Merino Light (100% merino; 420y / 100g) or approximately 880 (1005, 1150)1280, 1420, 1510 meters / 965 (1100, 1250)1400, 1525, 1650 yards of other fingering weight yarn, which gives you the correct gauge.
Sizes M and XL: If you are tall and generally need to lengthen your garments, I recommend buying an extra skein of yarn.

Needles
3.25 mm / US #3 circular needle (60 cm / 24” long).
3.5 mm / US #4 circular needle (60 cm / 24” long) and #4 dpns.
3.75 mm / US #5 circular needle (60 cm / 24” long).
4.0 mm / US #6 circular needle (60 cm / 24” long) and #6 dpns.

Other
stitch markers, 11 (11, 11)12, 12, 12 mother of pearl buttons (about 1 cm / 0.5” in diameter), tapestry needle for weaving, stitch holders / scrap yarn, crochet (optional).

Gauge
24 sts and 32 rows in 10 cm / 4” in St st worked in flat with larger needles.
One Travelling Vine pattern repeat is 3.5 cm / 1.25” wide - worked flat with larger needles, 4.0 mm / US #6.
