Catch my heart and be gentle. Take it in your hands, and keep it warm, keep it safe.
Let it rest in your embrace, so long, so strong.

This delicate cardigan was designed to hug your body and keep you warm with different layers of fabric folded over your heart.
Many tailoring details were used for this piece: shoulder pleats, folded neckline and collar, smocked fabric, peplum and ties.
It is built in several sections that are joined as you go, so very little finishing is required. It is knitted from the top down. and the sleeves are picked up and worked in the round.
