This cosy cardigan in Finnish wool takes its design cues from the classic denim jacket.

By using contrasting panels of stocking stitch, slip stitch and reverse stocking stitch, and details including Latvian braids and folded hems, Dario Tubiana has evoked the look of a classic denim jacket. His cardigan also has false pocket flaps on the chest, and a brioche stitch collar.
The pattern is worked using two strands of worsted-weight yarn held together throughout.
