The Celta shawl has a simple presence with a bit of elegance to wear out on those cool nights. The design starts with a scalloped lace border at the bottom and optional placed beads. Stitches are then picked up across the long border, and the body of the shawl is worked by using decreases to achieve the triangular shape with optional strung and placed beads for the center panel. The top edge is knit by picking up stitches across the top edge, and a lace border with optional placed beads is worked by binding off the top edge as it is worked, to create a polished finish.

I would like to give special thanks to gamerbabeknitter and kettavern for testing my newest shawl design. Their feedback was priceless and they pushed me to make this the best pattern it could be. I would also like to thank my technical editor kwunder for all of her help in publishing another pattern. Last but not least, my Mom for the time she spent to find a location to do a photo shoot and take the pictures for me. I love you Mom!
