Switchbacks, U-turns, and serendipitous diversions: sometimes changing directions leads to cherished memories and fun discoveries. Going off the beaten path doesn’t mean that it will be unfamiliar. Changing Directions Cowl is perfect for the adventurous wanderer in every knitter’s life.

This cowl is knit in the round and uses simple techniques such as slipped stitches, purl ridges, and broken ribbing to create directional arrows bordering a pathway. An easy unisex pattern available in two versions: one close to the neck and the other double wrapped around the wearer for an extra layer of warmth.

The stitch patterns are written and charted.
