The Charleston cardigan is worked flat from the bottom up, in pieces and seamed once all pieces have been knitted. The body features a large-scale St st-based lace that is easy to remember. To finish, button and buttonhole bands are picked up and worked flat. The pattern can be worked either from a chart or written instructions, whichever you prefer.

This pattern features in Issue 89 of Knit Now, which is on sale from 7th June in supermarkets, newsagents and craft stores across the UK. Find your nearest UK stockist here. Copies can also be ordered from MoreMags or if you prefer, digital editions are available via PocketMags.
