These Placemats are worked flat from bottom to top. Colors are changed using the tapestry method. Hold both colors throughout each row, working over the unused strand. When changing to the next color, work up to the final pull-through of the current color, completing the stitch with the new color. One ball of each color is enough for one Placemat. The yardage called for in the pattern is sufficient for two Placemats.
