Celebrate Easter with this cute little Chick in a wreath, decorated with eggs and spring flowers.

This wreath is decorated with little elements that each knit up quickly. The wreath is simply made by knitting a strip of horizontal rib and seaming to make it into a ring shape. The stuffed wreath will support itself, or you can glue a circle of cardboard onto the back to reinforce it.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, this pattern is worked in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 7g in each shade.


NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and 4mm buttons or toy safety eyes.

SIZES:
One size only - The wreath is 9cm diameter.

TECHNIQUES:
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
