Chevron Waffle Stitch Cowl
This waffle stitch cowl is worked flat, as a single chevron and then seamed. The increases and decreases of the chevron are worked in pattern, with the increase creating a lovely line running through the center of the cowl.
The cowl itself is made in fingering weight yarn and a size G (4.25 mm) hook, which, when combined with the post stitches of waffle stitch, makes for a wonderful heft and drape to the fabric. While the pattern calls for 550 yards of yarn and makes a cowl that is about two feet around, you can easily make it longer and more luxurious if you have the extra yardage.
