The crotch on the romper opens to make it easy for diaper changes. It relies on the use of snap tape. Snap tape is found in most fabric stores and is sold by the yard. It is much stronger (due to the twill tape) than just sewn on snaps which helps it stand up to many opening and closings.
With a hook change you can make 12 month, 18 month or 24 month sizes.
