Sometimes you pick up a ball of yarn and your first instinct is to hold it to your cheek. If the next thing you do is close your eyes and purr, you know you’ve found a treasure. That’s what happened when these balls of recycled cashmere landed on my desk.

When there is a chill in the air, this cowl is just what you want to snuggle your chin into. Knit in garter stitch, this is the project you’ll reach for when you just want to chill. Occasional short rows create the flared shape, allowing the cowl to drape gracefully across your shoulders.
