Chill

This pattern is available for $6.00 USD buy it now

I love lacy knits but sometimes I just want to chill, watch some TV, and knit. That’s how this shawl was designed, that’s how the sample was knit, and that’s what I hope this project will be for you. A relaxing knit resulting in a cosy, easy to wear accessory.

The Chill shawl is crescent shaped and has a short repeating texture pattern for easy knitting and adjustment to your size preference (or however much yarn you have). Perfect for variegated and solid coloured yarns, this simple design makes for an accessory you can reach for time and again.

A PDF with chart, tick-sheet and texture pattern instruction, is also included so that once the set-up section has been completed, the entire shawl can be worked from that one sheet making this a perfect knit-night project.

Yarn
300g DK/Worsted weight yarn (sample used 278g plus 12g for tassels, of Malabrigo Rios which is 192m/210y per 100g/3.53oz col. Liquidambar).

5mm (US 8) needles. I like to use an 80cm (31 1/2”) circular needle set but straight are fine also. 2 stitch markers, removable marker or safety pin (optional).

Tension/Gauge
