ChrisChris Shawl
ChrisChris is the latest shawl named after a family member, two actually, as both my husband and my younger brother are called Chris. It is also the jokey name I have for my husband, he calls me Jojo, so I call him ChrisChris.
It is the same large crescent shape as the Cecil and Simon shawls, knit tip to tip avoiding rows with lots of stitches. This time there is a knit and purl textured waffle pattern across the whole shawl. Mohair is held together with a fingering weight yarn to create different patterns/effects throughout the shawl. I have produced three different versions using a range of main and mohair yarns, but I have a feeling the skies the limit. It could even be knit without any contrast colour if desired as the texture is lovely on its own.
