Christmas Tree Doily
A linen circle embellished with a crocheted border of Christmas trees creates a festive doily for your holiday table.
Skill Level:
Easy
Materials:
- Lizbeth Cordonnet Cotton size 40 crochet cotton (300 yds per ball): 1 ball #638 Christmas green (MC); 9 yds each #671 Christmas red (A), #613 medium golden yellow (B) and #601 snow white (C)
- Size 12/1.00mm steel crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
- 8-inch-diameter white cotton doily with perforated edge
- Large-eye sewing needle (optional)
- Permanent fabric glue
- Spray starch
Gauge:
6 rows of ch-5 sps (on diagonal) = 1 inch; 6 rows of tree = 1 inch; 10 dc on tree = 1 inch; ornament = 1/4 inch in diameter
