This design was created with this beautiful self-striping yarn blending some color favorites to get men some “flare” wearing their socks. The simple diamond stitch pattern on the socks is reminiscent of a faux argyle that men so love to wear. Clark is the perfect gift for the classy, but spunky, gentleman.
(Published in the ADecember 2018 issue of I Like Knitting.)

The pattern is written for DPNs referring to Needles 1-4. You can accommodate it for Magic Loop or 2 circulars.

NOTIONS: Stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round, A tapestry needle for weaving ends.

PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.

DIFFICULTY: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate: Front/Back Cross and Front/Back Twist cabling, increases, decreases, and sock construction.

YARN: This pattern was designed to show off the beautiful colors in self-striping yarn. Certainly solid, lightly tonal, or variegated yarn would show excellent stitch definition.
